| About the Challenge |
The TiE-Canaan Entrepreneurial Challenge was introduced in 2006 and saw as many as 104 applications from promising entrepreneurs across the country. An eminent jury of successful entrepreneurs including the likes of Pramod Bhasin, Raman Roy, Saurabh Srivastava, Mahesh Murthy and Alok Mittal worked closely with the shortlisted participants to select Vegayan Systems, Six DEE and Infozech Software as the winners.
The winners were hosted by INSEAD, one of the most renowned schools of entrepreneurship, where they conducted a case study workshop on the global potential of their plans at the Singapore campus of INSEAD. |

Canaan Partners, a global venture capital firm and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), an organization which has been at the forefront of nurturing entrepreneurship worldwide have been working together to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem in India.
The TiE-Canaan Entrepreneurial Challenge is a step towards recognizing and promoting the ability to think independently, evaluate and execute in an individual. |
